戴福初,男,1967年10月生于湖南新化,北京工业大学 教授

1993年9月 – 1997年7月在中国科学院地质研究所攻读水文地质工程地质专业博士学位

1990年9月 – 1993年7月在西安地质学院攻读水文地质工程地质专业硕士学位

1986年9月 – 1990年7月在西安地质学院水文地质工程地质系获水文地质工程地质专业学士学位

1995年11月 – 1996年11月在香港大学土木工程系任研究助理

1997年8月 – 1999年5月在中国科学院地理研究所从事博士后研究

1999年5月在中国科学院地理研究所工作

1999年10月在中国科学院地理研究所被评为副研究员

1999年6月 – 2001年6月在香港大学土木工程系从事滑坡灾害的研究,任Research Associate

2002年2月 – 2002年9月在香港大学土木工程系任高级研究助理

2002年10月 –2005年10月在香港大学土木工程系任研究助理教授。于2004年2月辞职

2004年2月入选中国科学院百人计划,被聘为中国科学院地质与地球物理研究所研究员、博士生导师
